The Division of Employment Services exists to help individuals with disabilities recognize the economic benefits of long-term competitive employment. We provide services to match each individual's career interest as well as their physical, cognitive and emotional abilities in order for the individual to gain independence and self-sufficiency. Services provided include Situational Assessment, Work Adjustment Training, and Employment Services: Job Preparation/Job Development, Job Placement, 90-Day Retention, and Supported Employment. |

| Eligibility Requirements: |
|
In order to qualify for Yuma WORC Center Employment Services, clients must have an active case with Arizona Vocational Rehabilitation, California Department of Rehabilitation or other funding agency. Clients must also: have a medically documented physical or developmental disability from a physician in the United States, be 18 years or older, be able to benefit from services offered, not present a danger of injury to self, others or property, be free from contagious diseases that are spread through casual contact, conform to safety rules and practices, be willing to attend their program according to assigned schedule, and desire meaningful activity and employment. |
| Intake Procedure: |

Once the transfer of eligible clients has been successfully coordinated, the Employment Specialist will obtain client consent to services and conduct a thorough inquiry into the client's background prior to performing necessary assessments to determine the client's vocational profile and interest. |
