The LIRA Program provides a 20 percent discount November 1 through April 30 on the first 150 therms used each month; any monthly usage over 150 therms is charged at the regular residential rate. the LIRA Program provides a year round discount on the service establishment and/or re-establishment charge. |

| Eligibility Requirements: |

As a Southwest Gas customer, you qualify for LIRA if you receive service under Rate Schedule No. G-5, Residential Gas Service; the account is in your name; and total gross annual income of your household falls within the guidelines specified by the program. Call for eligibility guidelines. |
| Intake Procedure: |
|
Applications are available at any Southwest Gas office, at your local Community Action Program agency, or you may request an application be mailed to you. Complete the application and mail or return it to any Southwest Gas office. The application is self-addressed and postage paid for your convenience. |

Insurance is not applicable. Income Verification. Southwest Gas may require proof of eligibility such as tax returns, paycheck stubs, copies of employer or government records or other documents acceptable to Southwest Gas. |
