Description : The Arizona Humane Society, in partnership with Planned Pethood of Yuma, is bringing a Mobile Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic to YUMA! The clinic will be held November 4-6, 2008, in the parking lot of the old City Hall located at 180 West First Street, Yuma. Spay and neuter surgeries are on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis only, and check-in begins at 7 am. ARRIVE EARLY because space is limited. No more than 2 pets per household unless vacancy allows, and your pet will be ready to go home on the same day so please be prepared to pick up your pet on the same day, at a designated time. Your pet must meet the following requirements to have surgery: Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier; All pets must have fasted (had no food) for 12 hours prior to surgery; All pets must be at least 2 months old and not older than 5 years, and must weigh at least 2 ½ pounds. SPAY & NEUTER SURGERY FEES* Male cats: $32 Male dogs: $53 to $84 Female cats: $48 Female dogs: $63 to $95 *Because of possible complications, we may not be able to accept females that are in-heat or pregnant, or males with one or both testicles un-descended (crypt-orchid). If such a condition exists and the animal is accepted for surgery, additional fees will apply. We cannot accept dogs who weigh more than 95 pounds.
