The objective of Yuma Community Theater (YCT) is to produce works of live theater, promote community interest in live theater, and provide opportunities for members to participate in various phases of live community theater work.
Description:
Yuma Community Theater (YCT) uses local talent and local volunteers as actors, actresses, stage hands, costume makers, set builders, sound and lighting technicians and musicians to perform live theatrical shows at local facilities such as The Historic Yuma Theater, dinner theater locations in Yuma, and area auditoriums. Once a producer and director decide on a show to perform auditions are announced and rehearsals and set construction start the production process.
History:
YCT has been performing live theater in Yuma since 1980. We have produced drama, comedy and musicals such as "Fiddler on the Roof", "The Fantastics", "The Odd Couple", "M*A*S*H", "On Golden Pond", "Annie", "Brighton Beach Memoirs", "South Pacific" and many more.
