Mission Statement: To provide education, resources and networking opportunities to promote the love of gardening, floral design, civic beautification and environmental responsibility to members and the public.

Description:
WHY JOIN A GARDEN CLUB?
To be a member of the largest volunteer organization of it's kind in the world. To learn more about the environment and what you can do at your own home and garden. To assist with local civic plantings and beautification projects. Most garden club members join to learn about local growing conditions or to receive floral design training. Friendships are waiting to be made with people who share your interests.
The four local Federated clubs,Yuma Orchid Society, Yuma Garden Club, Pecan Grove Garden club and MGM Garden Club work together on large projects such as:
Yuma Home & Garden Show Educational Seminars, Tree Planting Workshops, West Wetlands Park Projects, and Sponsor the Horticulture & Floral Design Divisions at the Yuma County Fair. Clubs are active September through May.
All clubs: feature educational programs at monthly meetings, sponsor youth scholarships and contests, provide civic areas with plants and sometimes tour special gardens.

History:
We have a proud heritage of providing educational opportunities, civic beautification, promoting interest in gardening and the appreciation of our natural resources. Arizona Federation of Garden Club's celebrated their 73rd anniversary in 2007. Locally Yuma Garden Club and Pecan Grove Garden club have educated and beautified the Yuma area for more than 50 years. Yuma Orchid Society joined us approximately six years ago and MGM (Moody Garden Makers) during the past two years. MGM's project is the Robert J. Moody Demonstration Garden on the property of the U of A Cooperative Extension Service
