The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
Description:
We are involved in the community in a variety of capacities. We hold events in many communities for the purpose of raising funds as well as awareness.
We provide community education and programs and services for patients, families and the general community. Our programs and services are available to anyone who needs them.
