The Yuma County Library District serves as your center for information, community enrichment, recreational reading, and life-long learning.
Description:
Yuma County Library District houses over 283,556 items including magazines, and provides access to local and global information sources for comminity residents and visitors. The Yuma main library at 350 Third Avenue is open 64 hours a week. Resources include adult books and children's books on tape and CD, music CD's, videos, databases and free Internet access. All libraries welcome volunteers.
History:
The Yuma Library was established on February 24, 1921. The Yuma County Library District began in 1987. The libraries in the Yuma County Library District are Dateland Branch (located in Dateland Elementary School), Foothills Branch Library, Roll Branch Library (located in Mohawk Valley School), San Luis Branch Library, Somerton Branch Library, Yuma Main Library and Wellton Branch Library.
